Booklet For Separating Families

Booklet For Separating Families Experiencing Breakup Published

Cork Family Law Solicitor, Ken Heffernan has praised the good work of the Treoir organisation which launched the third edition of their booklet “Family Links Steps and Stages – Positive pointers for lone parents who are helping their children to understand their family situation”.

Ken says that in a society where divorce, separation and relationship breakdown is on the increase, information on Family Law issues to do with children and parenting, which promotes shared parenting and understanding within the family is very welcome and I will be directing clients to that information for their consideration.

With recent CSO statistics showing that there is an increase in the amount of unmarried and lone parents raising children in the country it is vitally important that services and information for this important section of the community are readily available and accessible. The publication of the information booklet by Treoir and its availability online means that up-to-date resources are now available to those who need them.

Treoir is the name for The National Federation of Services for Unmarried Parents and their Children, whose aim is to promote the welfare of and improve the standards of care for unmarried parents and their children.
